Privacy Policy
TrackStat (“we”, “us”, “our”) is building an athlete-management platform for track & field coaches. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website (trackstat.com.au), including when you join our waitlist. We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Information we collect
At this stage, the only personal information we collect is what you give us when you join the waitlist:
- your first and last name; and
- your email address.
We do not ask for payment details, and we do not currently run advertising or analytics tracking on this site.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- add you to our launch waitlist;
- contact you about TrackStat’s launch, availability, and product updates; and
- respond to any questions you send us.
We’ll only send you messages related to TrackStat, and every email includes an unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
We use trusted third-party service providers to operate the waitlist and this site:
- Klaviyo — our email and waitlist platform, which stores your contact details and sends our emails; and
- Cloudflare — which hosts this website.
We do not sell your personal information or share it for third-party advertising.
Overseas storage
Some of our service providers (including Klaviyo) store and process data on servers located outside Australia, such as in the United States. By joining the waitlist, you consent to your information being handled overseas for these purposes.
Cookies and third-party content
This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. We load fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google’s servers may receive your device’s IP address when the page loads.
Keeping and deleting your information
We keep your information for as long as you’re on the waitlist. You can unsubscribe at any time, and you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information by emailing hello@trackstat.com.au.
Your privacy rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can ask us to access or correct the personal information we hold about you. If you have a concern about how we’ve handled your information, contact us first and we’ll work to resolve it. You can also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work with reputable providers to keep your data safe.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
